Still Kicking -- Just way too busy

I just wanted my friends to know that I am alive and well, just still very busy with the following:

1) Work -- this is the worst month of the year for me. UGH
2) The Move -- We are moved in, but we still have lots of boxes and we are working on the outside of the house -- gardens, yard, painting the exterior of the house, etc.
3) Addie -- She has more good days than bad, but her cancer is progressing, and we have been told to expect that the end will come suddenly -- so while we no longer believe she can beat this cancer, we are doing our best to keep her as healthy as possible so that she enjoys what time she has left.
4)Softball -- we started softball for the season. We play on Mondays and Thursdays, so this is taking up alot of time, but it is really my only true source of fitness, other than the lifting and emptying boxes, and moving topsoil and mulch :)

Hope all of the RevGals and Pals are doing well. I miss being able to keep up to date. Hope I will be able to return soon.

Latest RevGal Meme

1) Do you like your hair?

Yes and no :-) It's low mintenance and spikey fun, but sometimes unruly too.

2) Have you ever colored your hair? If not, would you consider it?

Yes. I once came home with purple hair and a wild cut. Mom was not pleased.

3) What's the longest you've ever worn your hair? The shortest?

Longest- halfway down my back. Shortest- shaved bald. I raised money for kids with cancer about 2 years ago saint patty's day. It was almost all one length at about 7 inches when I did it, which is long for me. Curious? Look here and here and here
I raised $1800 for children and it is one of the most worthwhile things I have ever done.

4) When and what was your worst. haircut. ever?

I cut my own bangs as a toddler too many times to count. Was a bit of a hellion. Good thing I grew out of that ;)

5) Tell us a favorite song or scene from a book or movie dealing with hair.

I have two words to say (and no, it's not "Denny Crane") ------>

I challenge anyone to beat me on the shock value of #3.

My furry friend, Addie

For those of you who talk to me on a regular basis, you know that my dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. It is not curable, so we are doing our best to make her limited time with us a happy as possible. She is a great dog, and her life will be cut short -- she is about 3.5 years old. She has a special place in our hearts, having been born deaf. I have been too caught up with things at home to post any more frequently. All of your prayers are appreciated.
